Julio Cesar Cano-Villalta

Julio Cesar Cano-Villalta entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Starla Fontenot Cano. Father of Julio Cano Jr. ,wife Bianca Cano, Brandon Cano, Albert Cano ,wife Brianna Cano, and Sophia Cano. Grandfather of Julien Cano, Aleksi Cano, Mia Cano, Brandon Cano Jr., Jessie Cano, Gabriel Cano, Mila Cano, Violet Cano, and Michael Cano. Son of Bertha Villalta and the late Lorenzo Cano. Brother of Miguel Cano, Ana Sarrio, Gloria Cerrano, Lorenzo Cano, Rosa Cortes, Norma Myklebost, Jose Cano, Luis Cano, and the late Nelly Villalta. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Age 62 years, a native of Tela, Honduras, and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Julio loved his family deeply, enjoyed spending time with loved ones, and in is free time was an avid fisherman. He never met a stranger and had a great sense of humor keeping a smile on everyone's faces. He will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time. Interment will be private.
