Julius "Zeke" Hambacher

Julius J. "Zeke" Hambacher passed away on August 30, 2015. Beloved husband of Diane Stanovich Hambacher. Father of Jay S. Hambacher (Julie), Karl K. Hambacher (Joseph "Jay"), and Julianne I. Hambacher. Grandfather of Grace E. Hambacher. Son of the late Joseph E. Hambacher and Virginia "Frances" Tisano Mille Hambacher. Brother of Joseph S. Hambacher (the late Josephine). Also survived by beloved nieces and nephews. Age 82 years and a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, and a resident of Marrero for the past 42 years. He was a native of Algiers and a prolific swimmer in his youth. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was founder and president of Crescent Sign Corporation for 20 years. In his retirement he pursued artistic endeavors including woodworking, painting, and being a member of the Westbank and Metairie Art Guilds.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 12 PM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10 AM until 12 PM.
