Julius Norris

Julius Norris passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Nona Smith Norris for 57 years. Father of Thelma "Marie" N. Rapp, Billy Norris, Barbara N. Penner (Neil), and the late Elizabeth Fay N. Bechtel, Karen N. Williams (Harry), and Jared Norris. Son of the late Betty Smith Norris and Jim Norris. Brother of Jerry, Joe, Lonnie, Jerald, Jimmy, Jacob, Betty Jean, and the late Johnny, James, and Jesse. Grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 12. Also survived by his faithful pets, Oscar the bird and Shorty the dog. A native of Columbia MS for 20 years and Westwego, LA. He served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be from 11 AM until funeral time. Interment will be on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:30 AM in Foxworth Cemetery, Foxworth, MS.
