Julius "Jack" Vidrine

Julius “Jack” Vidrine entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 11,2012 at the age of 79. Beloved and loving husband of 56 years to Frances D. Vidrine. Son of the late Octave and Corrie Vidrine. Father of Jeffery L. Vidrine (Teresa), Kathleen F. Morlas (Vic), Rebecca E. Vidrine (Maria), Debra P. Stuart (David) and John “Randy” Vidrine. Grandfather of Katy, Holly, Amanda Morlas, Michael, Mark, Gary, Neil Vidrine; Lauren Reid, Sarah Pritchard, Craig and Rachel Vidrine. Great Grandfather of Jackson Vidrine. Brother of the late Ray Vidrine, David A. Vidrine, Mary Louise Prove and Willyne Roberts. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jack was born in Oakdale, Louisiana and was a resident of Marrero, Louisiana for the past 50 years. He was a veteran in the United States Navy. He was a former employee of Gardner-Denver Company and AWI, Inc. until his retirement. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
