June Verdin Holwell

June "Junie" Verdin Holwell passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olivia and Sidney Verdin, her daughter, Terry Krider, and her siblings, Mary, Eva, Joe, Anita and Joyce. She is survived by her loving husband, John Holwell, her devoted daughter, Stacy Krider, and her siblings, Lydia, Bobby, Virgie, Edgar, and Leah. Also survived by her beloved mother-in-law, Rose Holwell and many nieces and nephews. June was one of God's masterpieces. She was a successful business woman, an accomplished artist and an avid gardener. She was creative, talented, beautiful, kind and generous. Her kind spirit inspired all who met her. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 5pm. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1pm until 5pm. Interment will be held at a later date at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
