Justin Fletcher Estopinal was suddenly taken from us and called home to do more important tasks on February 7, 2013 at 12:31PM as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on May 9, 1979, in Metairie, LA son of Fernando Joseph Estopinal, IV and Elizabeth Klutas Estopinal. He is the grandson of Fernando Joseph Estopinal III, Barbara Estopinal, the late Nelle LaChapelle, Fred Robert Klutas and William LaChapelle. He is the great grandson of the late Fernando Joseph Estopinal, Jr. and Vivian Roy Estopinal and the late Guy R. Parker and Effie Fletcher Parker. Justin grew up in Gretna, LA and later resided on the Northshore where his love of the water allowed him to participate in his favorite activity of boating on the rivers and the lakes. After high school Justin finished technical college as a certified 1st class pipe fitter and welder. He also held Nicet engineering certificates and licenses for chemical fire suppression and commercial fire sprinkler systems. He was recently working as a supervisor for DXP Enterprises. Justin was happiest while focusing on his work in which he took great pride. One of Justin’s greatest accomplishments was in his innate talent in helping challenged children and coaching youth sports. Justin was a most passionate Saints fan and loved the fairgrounds, especially on opening day. His friends at the fairgrounds and in his section of the Dome were very dear to him. He is survived by his four siblings, Michele M. Cantin (Ronald, Jr.), Fernando Joseph Estopinal V, Sarah E.A. Estopinal and Zachary P. Estopinal (Rebecca). In addition “Uncle Puddin” is survived by four nephews in which he took the utmost pride in all their accomplishments and loved beyond a fault, Philip Estopinal, Ronald Cantin, III, Renzo Cantin, and Zachary Estopinal, Jr. Justin also held dear to his heart his cousins whom he loved as brothers, Donnie Estopinal, Parker Estopinal, and the late PFC Jason Hill Estopinal with whom he took so much pride in for his sacrifice for our country. Justin is also survived by a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins; Jeanne Estopinal (Thomas and Jeanne Marie), the late James Donald and Jan Estopinal (James Donald Jr. “Donnie” and Heidi), Jason and Claire Estopinal (late Jason and Parker), Neil and Ann Hayes (Cheryl and Thomas), James and Ellen Hayes (Mae Ellen, Donna, Tracy), Bobby Klutas (Lauren and Kristen), and Brenda and Gary Geiman. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 AM. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 AM until funeral time.
