Katherine "Kat" Vinet Gobert

Katherine “Kat” Vinet Gobert went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Paul Joseph Gobert. Mother of Veronica "Vicki" Gobert Griffin, Tammy Elizabeth Gobert and the late Shirley Ann Gobert. Beloved daughter of the late Mary LaChute Vinet and Marcel Vinet. Sister of Pauline Collins (the late James), Mary Carter, Frances Martin (William), Josephine Forrest, Victor Vinet (JoAnn), Christopher Vinet, Rebecca Petras (David), the late Marcel Vinet Jr. (Juanita), Julia Babineaux (Antoine) and Lena Pellegal (the late Adrian). Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Kat worked for many years at Avondale Shipyards. She had an incredible sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.
