Kathleen Fayette Flynt passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 31, 1955. She was the beloved wife of Philip “Mike” Flynt and the mother of Kristy Cheramie (Cory). Kathy was the daughter of the late Henry Joseph Fayette II and Marie Lozier Fayette. She is survived by her siblings Lawrence Fayette (Debra), Barbara Jackson (Jay), Alvin Fayette (Toni), Janice Fayette (Ray), Rebecca Fayette (Jeff) and preceded in death by the late Henry Joseph Fayette III and her beloved Godchild John Rosser Sr. Kathy was a loving grandmother to Brady Cheramie and Asher Cheramie. She was the Godmother of Joseph Guyton and Amanda Pelegrin. Kathy is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she adored; she called them all “her babies”.  She worked as a secretary in social services at Children’s Hospital for over 20 years. Kathy had a love for old Western programs and she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She had a genuine love for people with the biggest heart and she will be missed by all that knew her.  Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 12PM until 5PM.
