Kathleen B. Marciante

Kathleen Babin Marciante passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 31, 2022, at the age of 78. She was born in Westwego, La on February 22, 1944, to Leonard J. Babin and Mabel L. Babin.
Kathleen is survived by her three adoring children, William S. Marciante Jr. (Catherine), Deborah L. Clapp (William) and Salvador J. Marciante; her grandchildren Kyle J. Marciante, Emily L. Clapp, and Seth P. Marciante, and one great-grandchild, Marshal P. Marciante.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband William S. Marciante; and her parents, Leonard J. Babin and Mabel L. Babin, as well as her brother, Gerald James Babin (Rose).
Kathleen owned and operated Jefferson Meat Packing Co. and Billy Bob’s Fireworks, along with her husband William, for decades. She loved to spend her spare time with family and friends making memories. She took pride in her family, as well as her community, and she was loved by all. Kathleen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Kathleen on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, beginning at 7pm at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey 70058. The memorial visitation will begin at 5pm.
