Kathy W. Taylor entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the age of 54. Beloved wife of 5 years to Gary Dean Taylor. Daughter of the late William Albert Welker, Jr. and Vivian Marie Dufrene Welker. Mother of Chad Fourtunia. Grandmother of Abby Ray, Reese and Tyler. Sister of William Welker (Wife Becky), Judy Kodrin (Husband Mike), Debbie Welker and Melody Derouen (Husband Eddie). Aunt of Tia and Seth Welker, Mac and Wade Kodrin, Lindsey and Buddy Derouen. Relatives and friends, also Employees of Red Maple Restaurant and New Orleans/Baton Rouge Steamship Pilots Association are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at First Baptist Church of Barataria in Lafitte, LA on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6:30PM until 7PM. A Memorial Service will be held at the church on Friday at 7PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathy’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
