Kay Madere Juneau

Kay Madere Juneau was born on May 20, 1943. She passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the age of 72. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene “Jimmy” Madere and Alene Mistich Madere; brother, Robert “Bob” Madere; father-in-law, Irvin Juneau, Sr.; mother-in-law, Dorothy Juneau; brother-in-law, David Juneau; sister-in-law, Barbara Juneau Sutherland; brother-in-law, Stanley Sutherland and oldest son, Irvin Juneau, III. Kay is survived by her husband of 45 years, Irvin Juneau, Jr.; three sons, Heath Juneau (Heather), Herb Juneau (Samantha) and Cody Juneau; four loving grandchildren, Daphne, Dawson, Aubrey, Christian and her brother Al Madere (Cathy Huff). She will also be missed by her nephews, nieces, close personal friends, Debbie Richard, Rodney Mercado, Da’ryl Protti Andersson and many other relatives, friends and family. A native of Buras and longtime resident of Belle Chasse, Kay was a resilient lady with a strong heart and loving smile. The family would like to thank Ochsner Medical Center for their tireless care and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in her honor at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 9AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be held at church on Friday at 12 Noon. Interment will be privately held at a later date. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
