Keith L. Ruggles, Jr., 58, passed away on October 27, 2011, with his wife of 21 years holding his hand. He has entered a new life, resting in the arms of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Keith was born April 9, 1953 in New Orleans to Keith L. Ruggles, Sr. and Gladys (Agaria) Johnson.
Keith gave his life to the Lord in 1976 and thereafter began to work with people who suffered with life controlling problems. He was an active Full Gospel Minister and a member of the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers and the Louisiana Office of Addictive Disorders. He had also served in law enforcement for over 15 years.
Mr. Ruggles is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Cox) Ruggles; son, Lyle Joseph Ruggles; daughters, Lauren N. Ruggles and Lindsay C. Ruggles; sister, Laura C. Hingle and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, William J. Johnson, Jr.
Keith had many spiritual sons and loved them all dearly. Thank you Rick Schexnayder for walking this long journey with the Ruggles family.
