Kenneth "Kenny" Treadway, Sr.

Ret. Staff Sgt. Kenneth J. “Kenny” Treadway, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the age of 70. Former husband of Helga Treadway of New Paltz, NY. Son of the late Russell Treadway and Lydian Treadway of Port Sulphur, LA. Loving and devoted father of Jennifer T. Hermida (Robert) and Kenneth Treadway, Jr. (Deborah). Grandfather of Riley Treadway. Brother of Beverly T. Anglada (the late Terry), Alena “Nonnie” Ronquillo Pelas (the late Calvin) and Sandra Maltese (S.J.). Kenny is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Port Sulphur. He was a Retired Staff Sergent with the United States Army after 21 years of service. He also served in the Vietnam War. Kenny was a recipient of numerous awards and medals. Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Highway 23, Port Sulphur on Monday, July 1, 2013 from 9:30AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Monday at 11AM. Graveside services will be held immediately following the Funeral Mass in Louisiana National Cemetery, Port Hudson, LA on Monday at 3PM.
