Kevin D. Sorrell passed away on September 1, 2015 at the age of 60 years. Beloved son of the late Jo Anne Sandberg Sorrell and Morris Starkey Sorrell Sr. Brother of Kelly Laurie (Ed Harris), Shannon Baird (Chris), Starkey Sorrell Jr. (Sheila), John Sorrell and Ryan Sorrell (Ellen). Special uncle to Brandon, Kasey, Taylor and Logan. He is preceded in death by his beloved canine companion Harley and is survived by many other loving family members and friends.
Kevin was employed by TOPS, LLC as an office administrator. He was an avid football fan, especially the Saints and L.S.U. Kevin was devoted to his family and loved his nieces and nephews. He was witty and charismatic and made a friend wherever he went. Kevin captivated everyone with his story-telling and in his words, “Everyone needs a friend”. He will be sadly missed.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
