Klaus Dieter Nicklas

Klaus Dieter Nicklas passed away at Ochsner Medical Center on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the age of 52 after a long battle with heart disease. Klaus was preceded in death by his parents, Marianne Rosa Junk Nicklas and Manfred Erich Nicklas. He is survived by his aunt, Helga Makowski Loerwald and his canine companion, Cujo. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Magnel and Maria Bourgeois, Tracy and Brent Savoie, Greg and Sherry Johnston, London Boyd, and to his many longtime friends who were there for him. Klaus was born in Germany and moved to the United States at the age of 2 where he resided until his death. He was the owner of Fred’s Painting and a longtime employee of Jefferson Fiberglass. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 10:30AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1PM. Interment will be held in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
