L. J. Bigham

L. J. Bigham passed away on October 18, 2012. Devoted husband of 68 years to Mary Alice Moorman Bigham. Father of Jimmy L. Bigham (Beverly), the late Lawrence M. Bigham and Wanda Joyce Heumann. Grandfather of Stacey Fabre (Josh), Shane M. Heumann and Jamie Rene Heumann. Great-grandfather of Rylee Grace Heumann, Coryn Joyce Fabre and Carter James Fabre. Brother of Charles Bigham (Faye). Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
He served his country as a U.S. Army Medic in England during World War II and retired from Continental Can Company. As a man of immense faith, he served as a Church Deacon for 55 years, presently with 1st Baptist Church of Marrero.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 1st Baptist Church of Marrero, 4001 Seventh Street in Marrero on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Services will follow. Interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park.
