Larry Anthony Plaisance Sr. passed away on April 8, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Born in Gretna, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved husband of Rosalie Madere Plaisance for 52 years. Father of Larry Plaisance Jr. (Lou), Ricky Plaisance, (Angie), and Deanna Patecek (Don, Jr.) Son of the late Mensey Plaisance, Sr. and Edith Plaisance. Brother of Loyce Burnetz (the late George), Mensy Plaisance Jr. (Priscilla), Mickey Plaisance (Sadie) and the late Autry Plaisance. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was employed by the David Crockett Volunteer Fire Company for 44 years and by the Harvey Volunteer Fire Company for 28 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA. on Monday, April 13, 2015 at 1pm. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, April 12, 2015 from 6pm until 10pm and again on Monday morning from 9am until 1pm.
