Larry Joseph "Blue" Robert

Larry J. “Blue” Robert entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Kay Robert. Son of the late Lucien and Edith Robert. Father of Pamela Robert Rogers (Husband Joe) and Sally Robert. Grandfather of Jennifer Pierre Desentz (Husband Josh), Longelle Pierre Guidry (Husband Kevin) and Kevin Robert. Great Grandfather of Elizabeth Pierre and Kaley Guidry. Brother of Joycelyn Robert, Marjory Robert, Gayle Stansbury and Myra Nicholas. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Navy and is retired from Wire and Rope Corporation and Lowery Brothers. A lifelong resident of Waggaman, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM.
