Larry Anthony Troxler Sr

Larry A. Troxler Sr. passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Pearl R. Troxler for 68 years. Father of Gerald Troxler (Toni), Debbie Jo Jensen, Kevin Troxler (Peggy), Geralyn T. Vander Meulen (Lammert), Larry Troxler (Gwen), and Stacie Fontenot (Mark). Son of the late Ozeme and Beatrice Troxler. Survived by 16 grandchildren and preceded in death by one grandchild, Joshua Ryan Troxler. Also survived by 17 great grandchildren. He was a graduate of Hahnville High School, Southeastern Louisiana College and Louisiana State University. He was employed by Shell, East site, West site, and Taft (River Parishes) He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a “standout” player in baseball and football and was known as the “Hahnville Speedster”.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 1 Rectory Lane, Hahnville, LA on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:30am.
