Larry C. Walker

Larry C. Walker was born on November 2, 1952 and entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2024. He was the beloved father of Ian Walker. Son of Hugh E. Walker and Annice Collums Walker. Brother of Nicollette Walker Savage. 

I don't know what an obituary is normally supposed to say, so I'm just going to write whatever I want. And what I want to say, is that my father's death was to sudden, to random. My cousin died of cancer, and when I left for the funeral my dad was fine, but when I got back, he was in the hospital. And now he's dead. I could say how unjust this feels, how unfair. Instead, I'll say that he was loved. That he had adventures, made friends, and found love (more than once). I'll say that he lived a life worthy of the time and effort he put into it. And that he's earned his rest.

I love you dad, sweet dreams. 

A visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:30 PM. Interment will be private.
