Laura McDonald Arcement

Laura McDonald Arcement, age 93, daughter of the late John McDonald, Sr. and Lucinda Sapia McDonald. Married to the late Jules J. Arcement, Sr. Mother of Robert G. Arcement and the late Julien Joseph Arcement, Jr. (Betty), Cindy Ann Arcement and Craig John Arcement. Sister of the late Simon McDonald, Anna M. Adams, Emily M. Haase, Enola M. Duhon Toups (Nola), Clara M. Schexnayder, Eve McDonald, Clarence McDonald, John McDonald, Jr. and Lawrence McDonald. Survived by 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Born in Raceland, LA and resided in Harvey most of her life. Parishioner of Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church then St. Rosalie Catholic Church Parishes. We can never express enough gratitude and appreciation to our God sent “Extended Family” who helped care for her over the past two years. They not only took care of her, but each gave her their special love, affection and the will to continue living. A special thanks to the staff of River Regions Hospice and Total Home Health Care. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
The visitation will be held at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 600 2nd Avenue in Harvey on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 9 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
