Laura Mae Fink Martin

Laura Mae Fink Martin passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Edward L. Martin, Jr. Mother of Stephen Edward Martin (Vicky), David Paul Martin (Julie) and Peggy Anne Martin Gould (Jay). Grandmother of Ryan Stephen, Royce Palmer and Holly Victoria Martin, David Paul II, Michael Christopher, Jennifer Elizabeth Martin, Dustin Martin Dean Michael and Haley Elizabeth Gould. Loving Aunt of the Leaumont, Artigue, Riordan, Fink and Plaisance Families. She is preceded in death by her 9 siblings and her parents, the late Mary Lind Fink and Charles P. Fink. Age 85, a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Belle Chasse for over 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Algiers Red Hat Club and the Algiers AARP are invited to attend the Visitation at St. Andrew Church, 3101 Eton St., Algiers, LA on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 10AM until 11 AM. Eulogies will be read at 10:45 AM. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. The family wishes to specially thank Mrs. Martin’s caregivers, Penny, Jill, Kayla, Carol, Angela, Marva and Angele for their tender care. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
