Laura Belle Bigham Burmaster left our world in the comfort of her home July 30, 2012. Age 88. Born in Houston, TX on August 21, 1923, lived in Belle Chasse, LA since 1966. Wife of the late Melvin Burmaster, Sr. Mother of the late Jackie Wayne. Mother of Sandra Campbell, Houston, TX; William Brooks, Houston, TX; Melvin J. Burmaster Jr., Belle Chasse, LA; Mitchell Burmaster (Cynthia) of Belle Chasse, LA., Richard Burmaster (Belinda) of Richmond, TX. Grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Great-grandmother of 8 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Hallie Thomas Harmon and Othow Ray Bigham. Also survived by 5 great-great-grandchildren and her loyal and loving friend Connie Savios. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mitchell Burmaster to help defray funeral costs of his loving mother.
