Laurie Freeman Petrie entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the age of 51. Beloved and loving wife of 33 years to Alvin Petrie, Jr. Daughter of Stella Freeman McLamore and the late Joseph W. Freeman. Mother of David Wayne Freeman (Wife Ashley) and the late Adam Michael Freeman. Grandmother of Kyle Freeman, Kammie Freeman, twin girls Eliana and Elizabeth Freeman and Ashton Freeman. Sister of Cynthia Gauthreaux (Husband Gabriel), Jeanette Harris (Husband Ronald), Michael Freeman (Wife Angela) and Patti Hartsell (Husband Bruce). Survived by many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 9AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
