Lawrence Edward Vaught Sr. passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Gloria "Betty" Vaught. Father of Lawrence "Skip" E. Vaught Jr., (Joyce) and Karan V. Gossell (Paul). Son of the late Nannie Solomon Vaught and Milford T. Vaught. Brother of Ethel Ward, Emily Irene Ashcraft, Thomas and Samuel Vaught and the late Buelah Ogle and Peter Faulkner. Grandfather of Aaron (Brittany), Jeremy (Nicole) and Matthew Gossell ( Malarie). Great Grandfather of Devin, Kaleb, Penelope, Sophia, Josephine, Isabelle and Gabrielle Gossell, Shawn, Kelsey, and Cayden Bean, Layla Polk Fallin Stanfield, Chase Lynne Jackson, and Ayden Cepriano. He was a native of Cincinatti,Ohio and a resident of Marrero, LA. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of the Terrytown Golden Agers.
