Lawrence Watson

SMSGT Lawrence “Larry” Watson, Jr., U.S.A.F. (Ret.) passed away on December 24, 2011. Beloved husband of Jacqueline “Jackie” Baudean Watson. Father of Lawrence “Larry” Watson, III and Shannon Jacqueline Watson. Grandfather of Lauren Michelle Watson. Step-brother of Kenneth Wheeler. He was 72 years of age, a native of Whistler, AL, a former resident of Alexandria, LA and most recently of Marrero, LA. Larry was a graduate of West Jefferson High School Class of 1959. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the former England Air Force Base in Alexandria, LA as an Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent. His assignments included service in Vietnam. Following his retirement, he was the owner of the former Watson Pest Control in Alexandria, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will take place on Friday from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Saturday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
