Leandre "Lynn" Joseph Pitre

Leandre “Lynn” Joseph Pitre entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the age of 70. He is the son of the late Orine Guillot Pitre and Lehon Joseph Pitre. Brother of Laura Naquin (Clarence), Sylvia Doucet (Richard), Beverly Bergeron (Cecil), Linda Gregory (John), Virgie Davis (Glenn) and Brenda Pitre. Godfather of George Bauman, Jr., Freddie Delhommer, Jr., Nita Pitre, Anthony “Tony” Bourg and Steven Pitre. Lifelong companion of the late Katherine “Kathy” Bourg. Special, loving and devoted friend to Lynda and Damian LeCompte and Family. He also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lynn worked as a Lineman for Highland Construction until his retirement. He was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of Notre Dame Hospice and West Jefferson Hospital for their love and care given to Lynn. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Sunday, July 21, 2013 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, July 22, 2013 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM.
