Lenora Marie Hymel Power

Lenora Hymel Power, born in Breaux Bridge, LA February 15, 1930, and a resident of New Orleans, LA, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of Harold L. “Pete” Power, Jr. Sister of Theresa H. Vandervlugt of Arlington, VA, Charles Hymel (Joyce) of Gramercy, LA, and Russell Hymel of Tickfaw, LA. Sister in law of Lucie V. Hymel of Brea, CA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a brother, Leo P. Hymel, brother in law Jake Vandervlugt and parents Rose M. Sardegna Hymel and Leo P. Hymel, Sr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 9 AM until 11 AM. The Memorial Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
