Lenora LeBlanc Savoy

Lenora LeBlanc Savoy passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024 at the age of 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Willie Antoine Savoy. Loving mother of Dennis J. Savoy and Glenn P. Savoy (Mary). Grandmother of Rae-Lyn Hammett, Brad J. Savoy, Lea-Ann Schmeer, and Amy Melerine. Great-grandmother of Jade, Davin, Shelby, Jacie, and Eli.
Sister of the late May LeBlanc, Ella Landry, Odetta Bourg, Winnie Melancon, Wilma LeBlanc, Gertie Hebert, Allen LeBlanc, Hanson LeBlanc, Dewey LeBlanc, and Eusebe “Junior” LeBlanc. Daughter of the late Lillian Dugas LeBlanc and Eusebe LeBlanc. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In her young days, Lenora worked as a talented seamstress and later for Woolworth’s, Granny’s Fried Chicken, and Higgins High School. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 9am to 1:30pm. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA
