Leo N. Duett

Leo N. Duett passed away on April 18, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Mildred Stelly Duett. Father of Pamela Duett Fiegel (Jerry), Keith Duett and Blanche Duett Smith (Steve). Grandfather of Sean, Justin, Kadin, Kailey, Harli and Dominique. Brother of Evamae Duett Champagne and Charles “Buddy” Duett. Son of the late Marie Louviere Duett and Leo W. Duett. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Leo served his country in the U.S. Air Force and later retired as a civil engineer. He also proudly served as a Reserve Deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Mounted Division.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home, 4080 West Airline Highway, Laplace, LA 70084.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 8 AM to 11 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery) in Westwego.
