Leon R. Fabre

LULING - Leon “Lee” R. Fabre Jr., 34, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 11 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be officiated by Reverand John Perino. His final resting place will be beside his father, Leon, at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA. Serving as pallbearers are Brian Fabre, Christopher Melancon, Alexandre Melancon, Darrin Caillet, Kris Donnaud, Johnny Hodge, Jamie Lively, Kristhopher “KC” Sirmon, Ferris Tastet and Terrance "Tuna" Gomez Jr. He was a native of Luling, LA for 34 years. He was a graduate of the University of Southeastern Louisiana with a degree in Industrial Technology in 2001. He was a fraternity member of Kappa Sigma. Lee ran his own business, LA Express, locations in Boutte and LaPlace. He was a loving husband, father, brother and son, who loved sharing his time with his family and friends. He welcomed everyone into his home. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining for his guest. He was known for his quick-witted sense of humor and was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and those who were less fortunate. Lee was blessed with many faithful friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his wife Jeanine Malbrough Fabre and their three children Emersyn, Paxton and Rowyn. His mother, Madeline Comeaux Fabre of Luling and his in-laws, Roy and Peggy Malbrough of Metarie. Also survived by his siblings, Jacquine Fabre Melancon and husband Glenn of Sherman, TX, Brian Fabre and wife Andrea; Michelle Fabre Boudreaux and husband Tim all of Luling. As well as his eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon R.
