Leona Marie Aupied Sarrah

Leona Marie Folse Sarrah, age 81 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 12, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late Mitchell H. Sarrah. Daughter of the late Whitney Folse and Ida Aupied Folse. Loving mother of Darlene Victoriano (Ricky), Charlene Landry, Marlene Chandler and Arlene McFatter. Beloved sister of Joyce Folse St. Pierre (Raymond) and the late Leroy Folse, Sr. Sister-in-law of Gloria Sarrah Savoie. Cherished Grandmother of Michelle Loraso Sojdei, Victor R. Loraso III, Kevin and Kory Victoriano, Lauren and Erika McFatter and Brandon Gros. Great Grandmother of Kaleb and Luca Sojdei, Kody McFatter and Avery Ritter. Leona is also survived by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Leona was born in Raceland, LA and resided in Marrero, LA for over 50 years. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 9AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
