Leonard A. Callahan

Leonard A Callahan, 61 a devoted father and brother entered into eternal rest December 16, 2023 at Ochsner Hospital, Main Campus with his sister and daughter by his side. He was born October 1, 1962, in Abingdon, VA to the late Virginia Callahan and late William Ferguson. He worked with the company Cargil Displaying dedication and hard work for 35 years. He enjoyed making people laugh and was always cracking jokes. He had a strong love for his family, always kind, loving, and there when you needed him. He enjoyed cooking and had a passion for art and would paint the most beautiful paintings and build the most amazing things. He always had so many ideas. His kind heart, memory, and art will forever be cherished. Father of Tracy Lawless, Kerri Toups, and the late Stacy and Laura Alford. Grandfather of Masson, Bricesyn (martin), Hayden lawless, Ally, Leland, and Terry strong. Brother of Susie Tullos, Johnny, and the late William Callahan. Uncle of Stephanie, Adam, Darryl (Tullos), and Jonathan Callahan. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 11AM until 1:30PM.  Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30PM.  Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, Louisiana.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
