Leonard Frank Palmisano, Sr., age 90 entered into eternal rest on Good Friday, April 03, 2015. An amazing amazing man. Beloved husband of the late Connie “Baby” Rotolo Palmisano. Son of the late Frank Palmisano and Frances Tridico Palmisano. Father of Gerald Jay Palmisano (Rosemary), Sheila Rae P. Manning (Robert) and the late Leonard F. Palmisano, Jr. Grandfather of Beth Palmisano, Margie Palmisano, Chris Palmisano, Courtney Manning, Brandy Manning, Lacey M. Bartlett, Whitney Manning and Kelsey Manning. Great Grandfather of Hunter Bartlett and Jack Bartlett. Brother of the late Sam Palmisano and Rosalie Palmisano. Leonard is survived by his loyal canine companion, Jake and is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. He served his country during World War II while enlisted in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
