On the morning of Saturday, August 9, 2014, Leonard Peter “Lennie” Victoriano, Jr., entered into the gates of Heaven to join the angels with his loving family by his side at the age of 59. He was born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Barataria, LA, where he was a commercial fisherman. He fought long battles of cancer courageously for many years. Beloved husband of Kirsti Rojas Victoriano for 39 years. Beloved father of Jason Leonard Victoriano and Kenny Michael Victoriano. Loving grandfather of Sylas Joseph Victoriano. Devoted son of the late Leonard P. Victoriano, Sr. and Rose Mary Pizani Victoriano. Brother of Kathleen Victoriano LeBlanc (Alan). Son-in-law of Curtis J. and Iris Elliott Rojas. Brother-in-law to Nadine R. Lombas (Phillip), Curtis J. Rojas, Jr., and Roxianne R. Victoriano (Chris). Godson of the late Bessie Wildey and the late Donald Bailey. Godfather of Sheree LeBlanc Hymel and Michelle LeBlanc. Survived by a loving host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Church in Lafitte, LA. Mass of Christian burial will be held following at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. John Ryan officiating. Burial to follow at St. Pius X Mausoleum in Crown Point, LA. Alumni of Archbishop Shaw High School Graduating Class of 1972 and friends and family of Miller Wall Elementary School are invited to attend the mass and burial services. Our family would also like to thank WJMC 8 South and 7th floor, WJ Cancer Center, and Canon Hospice for their compassion and care.
