Leonard "Black" Victoriano Sr

Mr. Leonard Peter “Black” Victoriano, Sr., took God by the hand and entered heaven on the morning of Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the age of 83. He was born in Lafitte, LA and resided in Barataria, LA, where he was a lifelong commercial fisherman. Beloved husband of Rose Mary Pizani Victoriano for 65 years. He dedicated his life and love to his family and his boat the “Lady Rose”. Beloved father of Kathleen V. “Kathy” LeBlanc, husband Alan J. “his buddy”, and Leonard P. “Lennie” Victoriano, Jr., wife Kirsti Rojas. Loving and proud grandfather of Sheree L. Hymel, husband Ryan J., Jason L. Victoriano, Michelle R. LeBlanc, and Kenny M. Victoriano. Protecting and guiding Great-Grandfather of Macie R. Hymel, Sylas J. Victoriano, Rylee A. Hymel. Son of the late Robert J. Victoriano, Sr. and Virginia Schieffler Victoriano. Brother of the late Robert J. Victoriano, Sr. (Geraldine), Mary Elaine V. Maise Bonura (the late Lennie), Veronica V. Fazende (the late Larry). Brother-in-law to the late Warren “Red” J. Maise. Son-in-law of the late Rosemond E. Pizani, Sr. and the late Cleona Fazende Pizani. Brother-in-law of Rosemond E. Pizani, Jr. (Martha). Godfather of Gregory Victoriano and Adrienne F. Cantrelle. Survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lafitte on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow with Fr.
