Leonora Hall Rawlins Satterwhite

Leonora Hall Rawlins Satterwhite went to meet the Lord on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the age of 98. She was born on January 16, 1915 in Memphis, Texas to the union of C.E. Rawlins and Myrtle Hall Rawlins of Teaque, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Drannon Satterwhite; her parents, C.E. Rawlins and Myrtle Rawlins; two daughters, Carol Hebert and Bobbie Shulla; two sons-in-law, Darryll Kenny and Cliff Hebert; one grandson, Christopher Zintz and a great grandson, Bobby Melancon. She is survived by two daughters, Jeaney Kenny and Janey Zintz with her husband Rawle, Sr. both of Gretna, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and many friends. She was a longtime resident of Belle Chasse and a faithful member of Gretna Presbyterian Church. A special thanks to the Notre Dame Hospice Program and especially her nurse, Beverly and her aid, Barbara. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Gretna Presbyterian Church, 101 11th Street, Gretna, LA on Monday, January 21, 2013 from 9:30AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at church on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
