Leroy Lawrence John entered into eternal rest on September 30, 2024. Beloved husband of Marilyn Blaize John. Father of Gregory John (Destiny) and Nicole John. Grandfather of Brianna John and Madison John. Great-grandfather of Braila Barbarin. Son of Legon John and Edith McFarlane John. Brother of Felicia, Ulin, Esther, Patricia, Leon, Patrick, and the late Matthew, Rupert, and Sheila. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Age 77 years, a native of Trinidad and Tobago, and resident of Harvey, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment private. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until funeral time.
