Leslie Thomas Blackburn, Jr. passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Beloved husband of Theresa "Terry" Blackburn. Father of Mellissa Hewitt (Jason), Leslie Thomas Blackburn III, and Aimee Lynn Blackburn. Son of Florell Blackburn and the late Leslie Thomas Blackburn, Sr. Brother of Jean Odom, Joan Colletti, and Barbara Deskins. Grandfather of Christopher Blackburn and Kortni Hewitt. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of APA and Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 162 are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 6pm until 10pm. A Rosary Service will be held at 7pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
