Lewis Allen Wells

Lewis Allen Wells passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2024. Beloved husband of Carol Ehrhard Wells for 51 years. Father of Kelly Wells Zimmerman (Eric). Grandfather of Anne, Julia, and Caroline Zimmerman. Son of the late Willard W. Wells and Dorothy Keller Wells. Brother of Sally Wells Bowen (Grif), and the late Corliss Wells (Camille). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 82 years, a native of Hamilton, OH and resident of Metairie, LA. Lew attended Oberlin College and Springfield College. He was a counselor at the University of New Orleans and member of Bissonet-Maned Downs Country Club.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment Hook & Ladder Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the charity of your choice.
