Lillian Lonibos Hebert passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 5:33PM at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of 62 years to Lloyd Hebert. Mother of Barbara Hebert, Kathy Hebert McMenamin (Andy) and Daneel Hebert Bourgeois (the late Albert “Al”). Daughter of the late O’Neil and Stella Ledet Lonibos and daughter-in-law of the late Felix and Lucille Hernendez Hebert. Sister of O’Neil Lonibos (Gail) and the late Merlin Lonibos. Sister-in-law of Lois Miller and Elvira Hebert. Grandmother of Mindy Bourgeois Tomlin (Derek) of Humble, TX, Loren McMenamin Anderson (Damon), Kimberly Bourgeois Alvarez (Louis) and Aimee McMenamin. Great grandmother of Seth Reed, Victoria and Benjamin Anderson, Alyssa, Albert, Amelya and Abigail Alvarez, Dane Patrick and Cade Patrick Tomlin, Brycen Dominick and soon to be Brayden McMenamin. Lil was a beautiful person both inside and out. She loved people and never met a stranger. All who knew her loved her. A special thanks goes out to Ochsner Medical Center (Westbank Campus) to the staffs of the emergency room, intensive care unit and a special thanks to the medical staff of the 3rd floor. All provided excellent care to Lil and the family expresses their appreciation and gratitude. A native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA for 19 years and a resident of Gretna, LA for the past 62 years. Relatives and friends, also employees of Entergy, Region’s Bank, Law Firms of Pascal F. Calogero, Jr. and Ajubita, Leftwich, and Salzer, City of Gretna, the Jefferson Parish School Board, Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Mistras, Inc., City of Gretna Police Department, Southern Air Concepts, the St. Cletus Knights of Columbus Council 8615 and parishioners of St. Cletus Catholic Church are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire Ave., Gretna, LA on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 1PM. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be held at St. Cletus on Monday from 10AM to 1PM. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME in charge of arrangements.
