Lily Chiasson Labella

Lily Chiasson LaBella passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the age of 91. A native of Gretna and a resident of Harvey for 65 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvador “Sam” LaBella, Sr. for 54 years. Beloved mother of Salvador “Sammy” LaBella, Jr. (Wife Margaret) and Linda L. Breaux (Husband Barry). Daughter of the late Norbert Chiasson, Sr. and Sylvanna Chiasson. Sister of the late Nobby, Clifton, Wilton and Elton Chiasson. Grandmother of Nancy LaBella and Salvador Gerard LaBella, Christy Rudolph, Stacy B. Faia and Barry Joseph Breaux. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends, also members of Infant Jesus Golden Agers and the Widows Support Group, Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Auxiliary of the Italian American Society of Jefferson are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 9AM until 1PM. A Rosary will be recited on Monday at 10:30AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
