Linda Pertuit Autin

Linda Pertuit Autin age 62 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday January 9th, 2014 after a 9-month courageous battle with cancer. A loving mother and mother-in-law to Chad Autin, Amber and Nicholas Aymond. Mawmaw Linda to “my heart” Landon Aymond, Alexie “Lex” Rodrigue, Jacy “Jay” Moore and Marissa "Mooie" Alexie. Widow of the late Alex “Bozo” Autin Jr. Daughter and daughter in law of the late Johnny J and Lois Pertuit, Alex Sr and Marie Autin. Sister and sister in law of Carolyn “Lou” Vegas (the late Merlin), Laura Pertuit, Wayne Pertuit Sr (Sherry), Allen Pertuit (Debbie), the late John Pertuit (Vernice), the late Ann Pertuit, Joyce Naquin (the late Lawrence), Gerard “Pooney” Autin (Deb), Gerald Autin (the late Del), Maryann DeSalvo (late Lucien), the late Alan Autin (Betty). She will be missed dearly by countless other family and friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to: her best friend Joyce Naquin, Ann & Rayland “Pop” Carriere, Abby Aymond and Karen Rodrigue for all their love, support and assistants through this difficult time. Also to Egan Home health nurse Kelly, the West Jefferson Cancer Center Staff as well as all countless others who provided assistance throughout her battle. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 9AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
