Linda Brooks Glaeser

Linda Brooks Glaeser passed away in her home amongst family and friends on Thursday, April 3, 2014 after battling brain cancer at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Myrtis and Douglas Brooks. She was the cherished wife of Dennis Glaeser. Loving mother of Donny Glaeser, David Glaeser (Brenna), and Brandi Hill (Tony). Sister of Mary Brooks Arriaga (Fidel) and the late Daniel Brooks and Johnny Guthrie. Proud grandmother of Abigail. She is also survived and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Linda was a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. She enjoyed a long career with South Central Bell and West Jefferson Behavioral Medicine Center. She loved reading, cooking and being with her family. She was well loved and will deeply be missed by her family and friends and all those lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA on Monday, April 7th from 10:00am-1:00pm, followed by services beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
