Linda Rodriguez Dominique Owens peacefully went to Heaven on February 23, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Gene Owens. Loving mother of Audie “A. J.” Dominique (Shanna), Andrew Dominique (Kimberly) and the late Danielle Dominique. Daughter of Dorothy “Dottie” Barrilleaux Rodriguez and the late Louis “Rod” Rodriguez. Sister of Gwen Pichoff (Ricky). Nanny of Mark Boudreaux, Adam Pichoff (fiancé Courtney) and the late Aaron Pichoff.
Linda was a fun-loving person who had a beautiful smile and infectious laughter. She loved life, joking and having a good time. She was a care giver for many years, a member of the Harvey-Marrero Golden Age Group, Friends of the Knights of Columbus and really enjoyed her Immaculata High School Social Group. She was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, nanny, niece, cousin and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Services in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 PM to 10 PM, resuming on Friday from 8 AM to 11 AM.
