Linda Scovil White

Linda Scovil White entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 25th, 2013 at the age of 65. She was born in Peoria, IL and a resident of Westwego, LA for the past 27 years. Linda was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve 162 in Gretna, LA. She was the beloved wife of Rodney White of 24 years; Daughter of Esther Scovil Wittekiend and the late Woodrow Scovil; Survived by her brother, Woodrow "Butch" Scovil; Mother to Kimberlyn Hauck, Kenneth "Todd" Hauck (Jamie Hauck), Kirk "Steve" Deese (Holly Deese), Vonda "Bonnie" Smith (Randy Smith), Rebecca Hooker (Earl Hooker); Ya Ya to all her grandchildren: Amber, Chris (Kaylynne), Amanda (C.C.), Ryan, Shawn Paul, Joshua, Joyelyn (Justin), Chris F. "Bubby", Jessica (Alex), Holly T., Brittany, Holly H., 4 great-grandchildren along with numerous loving relatives and friends. She has left a huge void in many lives as well as the following words:
"Remember me with smiles and laughter cause that's how I'll remember you. If you can only remember me with tears, don't remember me at all."
Family and friends are invited to visitation and a memorial service celebrating Linda's life at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA 70072 on Thursday, March 28th, 2013.
