Lindsay Erin Esteve

Lindsay Erin Esteve, in the early hours of May 5th, 2013 abruptly departed us after being stricken with bacterial meningitis at the young age of 30 years old.
Preceded in death by her father Dennis Charles Esteve, she is survived by her loving 8 year old son Colby John Downs; her closest friend and mother Erin Murphy Esteve; her brother Christopher Dennis Esteve; sister-in-law Jessica Patrick Esteve; granddaughter of Willie Moses Esteve, Nelda Esteve, the late John D. Murphy and Stella Ott Murphy; and also the other members of the Esteve, Murphy, and Patrick families.
Ms. Esteve was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. She was a devoted and proud employee of Rouse's Supermarkets. She attended St. Cletus and Livaudais schools and also attended Immaculata High School.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the family to benefit Colby’s education.
