Lionel P. Breaux

Lionel P. Breaux, Sr. passed away on April 24, 2011. He was 88 years of age and resided in Belle Chasse, LA. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Panepinto Breaux. Father of Lionel P. Breaux, Jr. (Bobbie), Corey J. Breaux and Kevin L. Breaux (Denise). Grandfather of Angelique Breaux and Barry P. Breaux. Brother of Hazel Bush, the late Marguerite Boyer, A.J. Breaux and Ronald Breaux. Son of the late Julia Ledet Breaux and Paul Breaux. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country during World War II, was a member of Fr. Peter P. Boerding Knights of Columbus Council No. 6357, former member of Santa Maria Knights of Columbus Council No. 1724 where he served as Grand Knight, Plaquemines Council on Aging and American Legion Post 218. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23, Belle Chasse, LA on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 for 11 AM. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will take place at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM and Wednesday from 8 AM to 10:30 AM.
