Lloyd J. Balliviero

April 27, 1945 — March 17, 2012

Lloyd J. “Lil’ Rooster” Balliviero passed away on March 17, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Former husband of Judy Honeycutt. Father of Katie Jo Balliviero and Cody Dees Balliviero (wife Bridgett). Brother of Norman P. Balliviero, Jr. (wife Glenda) and Mary B. Guinn (husband Charlie). Son of the late Frances Lange Balliviero Dixon and Norman P. Balliviero, Sr. Uncle of Tammy Balliviero-Breaux (husband Carl), Michael Balliviero (wife Tessie) and Timothy Rankin.
Lloyd was a Christian man, a loving father, brother and friend. These came first in his life. During his lifetime, he was a visionary, starting Belle Chasse Marine Transportation in the 1970’s thus establishing the first ship launch in the area. He did that by working tirelessly to provide a much needed service. Recently, his vision to create and design the future LA Gulf International Transport Terminal at Southwest Pass is being developed.
