Lloyd W. Bourg, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Therese Marie Boudreaux and Isabella Foret. Son of the late Victor Bourg and Alice Bourg Hebert. Father of Helen Moore (the late Marvin), Lloyd “Bill” Bourg Jr. (Carol), Victoria Laudun (Johnny), Rosary Justice (Bruce), Craig Bourg, Sr. (Carolyn) and the late Barry Bourg. Brother of the late Virgie Dugas, O’Neil Bourg, Dorothy Bordelon, Melvin Bourg, Alvin Bourg, Albin Bourg and Corrine Trosclair. Grandfather of Marvin Moore, Jr. (Marty), Mona Moore Stribling, Shannel Bourg Falgoust, John Bourg, Barry Bourg, Jr., Mark Bourg, Joseph “Joey” Fourreaux, Theresa Boudreaux Baldwin, Joseph “Joey” Matrana, Leslie Justice, Ashley Justice, Jennifer Bourg Roberts, Kelly Bourg Toro, Craig Bourg, Jr. Survived by step children Glenn Menard, the late Janet Ortalano and Ruby Walker. Also survived by a host of great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. Lloyd was born in Napoleonville, LA and a longtime resident of Gretna, LA. He was a veteran of World War II and a retiree of Schlumberger. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 9AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1:30PM.
